Definition of a nerd :

Unpopular,walks with heavy textbooks in his hands? Tends to wear specs which are amazingly thick? Yet uncanningly smart and hardworking?? Ha, i don't know.

Nerdish people tend to have that look. Yea, the look which gives others the impression that he is the type that goes straight home after school, puts down his bag and begins to clarify doubts raised from the whole day of lectures and tutorials by opening textbooks... all this... and all that... until the doubts are cleared . Only then, will he take to the showers, have dinner, and begins to start doing tutorials. Luckily, he doesnt have to take long to clear his doubts.

He looks at his handphone. No messages. He gives a sigh. He starts doing the tutorials. First stop : Physics. Looks at the first question. Wow. Complex. Thinks. Thinks further. Thinks even further. Thinks of giving up. He picks up his handphone. Calls his buddy. Discusses the question... Crap... so it's kinda easy... morale raised. Attempts the other questions, which gets increasingly harder. Begins doing maths... mmm... easy questions... whizzes through them .

Looks at the clock. It's almost one. Switches off the lights. Sleeps.

And wakes up to a brand new day, to a boring old routine.

back at good ol' bishan at last... hmm im reminded about the time when jeremy first got his license... he was mentioning that his mind was so occupied with driving after he passed... hmm...i look at myself now and, well... the itch to get on the road was just simply too unbearable... but too bad... dad doesnt own a car. haiz... sianz la... passed liow no car to drive.

went to see the doc in campus yday... cuz my eye looks reddish all the time... was told it was an infection... most prob from my contacts... first time kenna eye infection... think i better wash my contacts more throughly next time... then saw clarence on the way out and he invited me to his hostel after my lecture... realised that sending files over the intranet is damn freaking fast... less then 5 seconds for a mp3? getting episodes of anime in super quick time?... whew... im truly amazed... went back boon lay to pack my stuff before heading back to his hostel to stay over for the night... in the end didnt sleep much... went over to hall 9 to find frens... met some new frens.... dorothy and yvonne... nice chaps... living a night in hall was... kinda... nice in a sense though. cuz mainly the connection speed is amazingly fast. for a net addict like me... this is truly the perks... but living in hall will get to know more pple definitely...

well, won't be having this chance at least for a year... and its the weekends at last... hopefully, it will be a fruitful one...

Passed my driving!!! woohoo!!!

Brought my laptop to school so i can blog to all of ya guys... hmm monday was one of my happiest days of my life ( although argubly the happiest )... i tot i would fail after i struck the pole during my parallel parking... but all went well later... whew... 10 points... i was smiling all the way throughout the whole day... rushed back boon lay to put my stuff and proceeded back to campus... had a boring eff. comm tutorial before i had to go to my math prof's room to take the quiz i missed that morning... juz 1 question for a test... did it and got an A! haha... everything was juz going so well for me... my burden of driving is being lifted at last... now who can lend me a car to drive? ;)

Though i might not say the same things for other stuff... firstly have to say sorry to val for missing the fireworks display... really wanted to go,but partly i would feel outta place and 2ndly it's my driving the next day... sorrie, shall pass u the stuff next time ( and lend me tuesdays with morrie? ) and then my eyes have been giving me lotsa problems... or rather it might be my contact lenses... they look reddish all the time... and eye shit juz keeps oozing out once in a while... infection maybe? pls advise if any of ya got such symptoms before... thanksz... heehee...

alright... shan't blog further... should get back to my studying... tata...

Something to really knock into my head is... never never go for any NUS bashes. Cuz they always have a knack with never ending streams of house... even if today had a touch of jazz with a solo saxophonist on stage, it stills gets into me... not to mention the crowd was juz simply too big for the place... which is rouge btw. fucked up place... though jeremy told me the place was nice when he went there during his orientation...

so in the end me and my frens left the place and went to the coffee club... slick place beside the califonia fitness club... i think it's a new place... went there and ordered a mud pie... however the orders took too long and we juz cancelled our order and left... to geylang... had tim sum there.... yummilicious... the food there is much more worth to say the least...

went home... went on the net for a while before plonking to bed... woke up a few hours later to go for my driving revision... had a few hiccups man, but generally still ok... went back home and my dad told me if i fail this time i had better not take already... take so many times still cannot pass... haiz... true man... i wont take another one after this already... guess im not fated to drive until i actually work and learn driving all over again... haiz... so sickening rite... 4th time liow ... if really sway fail again... then maybe, something's wrong with me somewhere...or im just plain unlucky in this aspect. haha...

hi guys... back from boon lay...

i would say this week has nothing much to talk about except for some stuff...! Yes! monday... our nation's birthday...i got the chance to watch the parade at the national stadium... was veri crowded and my brother was late some more... my auntie didn show her pissed-off face in front of him but i saw it... i met up on time at kallang mrt mar...hmm punctuality.

waited for a great deal of time under the evening sun... was sweating profusely and i was wearing jeans somemore! but the wait was worth it... the performance was great... esp the night performances... lighting effects were excellent... not forgetting the fireworks... if u find them mesmerizing on TV... wait till u see them close up... whew... bang... boom...woah...

supposed to meet val on tues... but she had headache... so cancelled... cya on sunday i hope...

Went to kaiping's house last night after much persuasion from my primary school frens... went all the way to hougang to play mahjong... lol... was winning so much at one point but in the end, juz won 2 bucks. wasted trip... my transport cost already so much liow... but still... got to see my primary school frens...

Something worth mentioning in this post... i got my lap top! didnt expect it to be by Dell though...dad ordered it online... but lol... when i got back, he msged me and told me muz return him the money next time after i work... but for now... shall enjoy its perks... surfing wirelessly... like now... blogging with my lap top... can get to enjoy NTU's wireless network... freaking fast...

And last of all, my 4th driving test is coming up this monday morning... really hope i would pass this time. haiz...

After logging onto the Net and proceeding to sruf the net, i suddenly realised to my horror ( or amazement rather ), that i always start surfing the NTU website first and foremost. hmm... looks like im on my way to morphing into a fully-fledged full-time student... heehee...
The website hosts a lot of info such as lecture notes, presentation slides and tutorials... stuff like that... and announcements for make up lectures and tutorials...

hmm shan't blog such about such boring stuff durin the weekends ha.

Rather, yesterday was an enjoyable Saturday for me... i was invited to alicia's birthday party so i went in the evening... mandarin gardens is a big place... self sufficient condo with enough facilities... proceeded to the function room near the swimming pool... hmm... was kinda outta place cuz i only knew her and zhizhong, and she had to walk around and talk to her other frens too... only got zz to talk to... but luckily she got a fren of hers who could perform amazing card tricks... was pretty entertaining... soon after i headed over to newsroom bar! NBS was holding their pageant preview over there... so went there to take a peek... and my goodness, throngs of girls simply crowded the whole place, pretty ones at that. i wouldn even bother thinking of going if my engineering fac organised such an event. Spit!

The pageant girls were, undoubtably, pretty and elegant. Being kinda the xtra one over there ( im not from NBS mar... ), i could only mix with jeremy's OG frens initially... quite nice pple...
later timothy and teck hou came... followed by winson and his fren... hmm... overall it was a fun night.... great music, great girls... but till then the place was literally crowded with guys with THAT haircut. yea, that unmistakably haircut i used to have. I look at them i suddenly realised how stupid i looked last time... haha...

Had supper at newton circus before heading home... plonked to bed right after a bath...

No school tomorrow! thanks alot Singapore.

Back from another week of school again...

Being irritated and annoyed at the distance i have to travel to campus everyday for lessons, i decided to move into my aunt's flat which is situated at the best place possible : Boon Lay . In precise, it's at Jurong West... and it's only a 2 minute walk to the bus stop. The frequency of the buses are amazing as well. What's more, they are all double deckered...!

Brought enough clothing for 5 days... didn do much on the first night... plonked to sleep after watching GTO part 2 on ch 8... woke up next morning for school, only this time, much much later then usual, and i didn't have to rush things. i can leave the house at 9 am and reach school at around 920, and still have time for a quick bite before my first lecture. That's how convenient it can get.

However, all things have their pros and cons, and soon enough, i began to feel it once i reached home and had a bath. The usual routine of heading to the study room, using the Net, began to flash in my mind and it didn take me long to realise that these things weren there for my leisure. The usual dose of Simpsons and Ranma 1/2 at 6 pm were sorely missed too ( no SCV there !! ).

The boredom soon got into me, and i began to find stuff to do. Alternatively, i picked up the dinner chairs and used them as make shift dumb bells. Light as they were, they became stupendously heavy after a many repetitions, did crunches, push ups, anything to pass time. Hmm, a good time to start training anyway...

After a shower i would begin to revise the topics covered for the day... attempting tutorials occasionally. I must say it's a condusive environment to study... it's just lacking a radio that's all...

Met up with jeremy last night for supper, dude's been having lotsa problems lately, but relax dude, juz heed my advice, and u won't go wrong...! lol :)

Alright, shan't blog further more, my life's getting monotonous once again... but still... schooling's the best, i need to get it in my head....!
