ORD LO!

but really, im juz clearing off/leave rite now...but still... i wont have to see the sickening camp liow, except for a couple of days... guard duty and stuff... like settling my dental and medical checkups... signing of clearance form, de-kitting, things i have to do before i can collect my pink ic.

went ktv on tue evening... reached orchard and realized to my horror i didn bring the ktv coupon with me... luckily val was around to save my arse...she had a coupon with her as well... ya i know i blur like sotong... hee... thousand thanks to u sweetie...

did COS on wed... quite a busy day for me in the office... was discussing my off days with chris...he was in the office the whole day settling every1's off/leave days... helped me settle my off days as well, that's why i could book out after my duty is done... on that day i was pinned down by my bunk mates, they used markers to draw my body... sick asses...

packed my stuff in my duffel bag... while i was walking outta camp pple who are booking in gave me that envious look... ha, took me more than 2 years for my turn... slowly wait for urs la...

the next day, went kuan yin temple with val to pray... for me, of course it's for my tp la! and other stuffs...
went ikea for furniture shopping... when i go there i get reminded of my own room... looks like trash compared to those show rooms haha...
Watched the day after tomorrow! end of the world type of show... full of special effects...

went home and watched ami... in the end fantasia barrino won... quite obvious win for her la, if it's her and la toya london it might be a closer fight... but both finalists sang pretty well...
looking forward to our own singapore idol... wanna see those pple who sing like shyt perform... lotsa laughs for me then... ha... one of my battery mates joining the auditions but he's sings pretty good... good luck to him...
another of my primary sch fren is joining too... he's got the william hung look haha, got a nerd face haa, haven really heard him sing before but still... good luck to him too!

slept all the way till now... hope for a good weekend for me though my wallet's whispering ...ha.

The date is 23th may... on 1st june i would start learing my off and leave and begin to f-k off from khatib camp, would come back camp for 8-10 june and from then on, i wouldn have to book in, till the day i collect my pink IC.

In camp, u never know when sai kang is gonna hit u, for this week, we were tasked to paint our iron pickets and entrenching tools... the next day, we had to perform annual PMCS ( preventive maintenance checks and services ) on our FH guns. as with the word 'annual' , it's done once every year and it's a tedious job. i wouldn elaborate on the details except that it is extremely dirty. And smelly. And time consuming...

Watched troy this week... power show! im captivated by the performances of every1 in the show... i was wondering how the term ' Achilles Heel ' would come about, it so happens that the heels of Achilles were his weak points, when he was still small he was dipped into some holy water which makes him invincible... but his heel was not in contact with the water cuz his mum is holding on his heels... she was holding him inverted with both hands clasped on his heels... that's like the gist of the story la... not an avid reader of greek mythology...

realized that on this week some of my frens are ORD-ing on friday and saturday... met up with one yday... he was happily flashing the pink card... oh... how i miss my primary 6 photo.

friday night went cx's house to play mahjong, as expected ( HA ), won again. treated the other 3 to ba chor mee...

played till six then went to jeremy's house , cuz we had to go to some army safety exhibition at SAFTI MI... waste of time really... changed to our no.4 attire and waited for fuyuan to drive us there, that clever guy... took MC for friday and sat...but glad he still took his precious morning to drive us there... thanks...
slept during the video presentation... then walked past the exhibits later... after which we were dismissed from there... waste of time!!!

went jurong point makan after which i took the long mrt trip back home...from boon lay to bishan... slept all the way till the late evening when cx kept calling my hp to tell me go out... haiz...went out... played abit of arcade games... while later heading to winson's house for a few games of winning eleven 7... then headed to geylang for tim sum supper. went home after that to or or.

now heading to my town centre to get dinner for my family... mum's down with flu...so she's not cooking...

When i got back home i recieved this big envelope from my future uni to be... NTU... opening it revealed many stuff but most importantly my application to change my course to triple E has been approved! no more common engine for me... yeh...

there's this handbook where i have to read... many impt stuff to read... mainly it's the tuition grant that our dear government is sponsoring... which greatly reduces our school fees... which means more allowance for me next time... hopefully...

didnt go out yday night, woke up early todae, used the comp for a while then went out with mum for grocery shopping... my god, my goodwill was exploited with her buying lotsa canned food which i had to carry for her... so much till i suggested to the cashier that i have another layer of plastic bag for fear that it might break if juz one. but at least she bought the stuffs i wanted to bring to camp... bread, luncheon meat, noodles and a new toothbrush. my toothbrush in camp, if i didnt forget, i have been using since last year haha.

went back home, had lunch, bathed and went to sembawang to meet my primary sch fren for a mahjong session. Indeed luck was seriously on my side for the first round. i had won 60 bucks. to my utter dismay, that amount began to reduce from a mountain to a molehill. i broke even at the 2nd last game. if not for the last game where i won big and zi mo, i wouldn even have won anything. sheesh.

Rushed to grandma's house at amk for a belated mothers' day dinner, didnt have it last week cuz all my cousins still having exams. i was late eventually and i gobbled on the remains... still tasty... mmm...

haiz, booking in camp in 2 hrs time. ha, at least there's playstation to play in there...

When was the first time u did something for the first time?

i haven done so in ages, but i did it. Last Night.

To drive the roads of singapore for the first time in my life, the CTE, the PIE. Driving in 100 click/h. woah. The feeling is that of fear, excitement, apprehension, uncertainty all rolled into one.

The road to jeremy's house didnt meet into alot of problems... the only exception was once i exited the car park and striked the kerb while turning. Damn... butter fingers settlling in. Everything im doing here is the first time... from driving without an instructor by ur side, encountering rowdy drivers and such. After pickin jeremy up they decided to go to newton circus to eat, thus we have to go back orchard road. It was a friday night, and the road there was packed like hell. Almost had an accident where i changed lanes without signalling right after a left turn, and almost banged onto a car which was turning left on my right as well. Was stunned for quite a while, didnt have appetite to eat there, and my hands were shaking. Fy and jeremy were like fuckin me all the time, but hey, i didnt have the luxury of driving a car before i start to learn from an instructor, and i know things such as driving requires a certain level of skill or even still, talent which i know i dun possess either of them, but i feel driving is just like cycline ; who'd dare cycle down a steep slope or do a sharp turn if u are not an experienced cyclist? i have been cycliing for so many years, and i know during the first time i did cycle down a steep slope, i fell and had a deep scar on my left elbow. Now? should be able to lar haha... Similarly for driving, if i get to drive alot, it becomes something like cycling la. although i muz thank whoever up there for helping me miss that accident, preventin the car from getting a 'scar', or even worse , a 'fracture' ...

went to pick kang en up later, where the intention was to drive to somewhere ulu and let me and him drive.... went east coast park , drove till the end where there's this car park with no lamps lit. a place for love-making couples to sizzle with passion, abeit under the cover of newspapers stuck on the car's windows... went there a few times with jeremy and fy... and irritated the hella out of some couples ( one even stuck out his middle finger ! )

But before i digress further, the road there was a very straight one, i took over the wheel and sped towards the car park. stupid car juz cant run for nuts, only managed to clock 110 max i think. but still, im a unqualified driver, to experience such speed for once is good enough... no more 2nd time...

when it was kang en's turn to drive, i went to fy's seven series and proceeded back down the straight road again... on the way we saw a police car... quickly called jeremy and told him to stop the car... whew... and his left eye was twitching all the time...

went back fy's area and drove around the private estates... cant speed there la, road so narrow ... was so tired by then, and we were deciding whether to spend the night at fy's house or simply at ECP. cuz we have a run in the morning at 730 am... in the end we went to ecp... parked the car and every1 tried to sleep. Not only was it hot, the buzzing mosquitoes bit us too. in the end after a tormenting period we simply juz spent the time in Mac's... lucky it's a 24 h... ate breakfast there ... i had 3 cups of coffee to prevent me from sleeping... kinda worked cuz i was feeling quite High... the rest were sleeping back in the car... i wonder how is it possible in such a small car...weather so humid some more... went to mac's toilet, sat on the bowl and played with my hp while i was doing business. Not long after we picked up vic from around mac's and drove to the meeting point... so far away... lucky we haf car...

the warm up of the run was conducted by our dear banana ball... up to his old tricks again... creating new styles of warm ups... maybe to impress our Chief of Army? most prob. ha...

the run was quite enjoyable, to my amazement. the coffee was working me to the peak...six click run... not dat tiring then those 5 click runs we have in camp every tuesday... maybe it's the environment...

after the run and some refreshments we were dismissed from the area and so we proceeded back to the car...it was only 9 something then and we supposed to return the car at 1230... went katong and had katong laksa... only that there are so many of the same stalls which call themselves... err.. 89 katong laksa, 109 katong laksa... something lidat la, like there's a number differentiating them...

so we juz sat down on one stall and ordered laksa...jeremy didnt want cockles in his bowl so i promptly told the waiter to put his share of cockles in my bowl... the waiter juz said in chinese' so all the bowls want cockles la later then u transfer the cockles around k? jere didnt want the smell of cockles to be in his laksa, while i like cockles alot, so i kinda insisted that he put more cockles in one bowl... then jeremy said u think they so wu3 eng2 ( so much time ) help u do this ah... i rebutted that competition here is so stiff, if u cant comply to ur customers' needs, how do u think u can attract customers this way, when every stall claims that their laksa is the best? i dunno la, i didnt think i didnt ask for much there. that much of cockles might juz cost 20c but so wud... aiyah whoever's reading this part i hope u get my drift la.

later jere and fy juz drove around city hall area, orchard area, juz waiting for time to pass so they can return the vehicle. for me the caffeine has worn out so i was dozing off ... when fy was driving he was driving like a mad man gone loose, sounding his horn, braking hard, so on and so forth, i was laughing so hard at wud he was doing... pointing his middle finger at innocent drivers... all so tickling for the sleepy of mine...

in the end we returned the car early...and went back home and slept till eight something... tired ...

well well, the car has been confirmed... fy called... picking me up then i'll be taking over the wheel... he mentioned that if there's any hair's length wrong with the car trouble's gonna come. made me kinda worried, but money's paid... and im in for that risk for the sake of being on the wheel. God bless me and the car. gonna bring some lucky charm my mum got me months ago.

Sipping on a glass of Bailey's, in the comfort of my home really is a luxury.

In a nutshell backz from camp after a seemingly slack week in there. Besides the steaming hot weather which really makes one over the weather... moody... sian... whichever the case, i juz f-King hate the weather now la. wuds more yday our sgt chueng aka Mr POL made us go down and clean one of our FHs while the sun was scorching hot... the barrel so rusty.... and we had a hard time cleaning the damned thing. Sweated like frightened pigs waiting for their turn to get slaughtered. lucky he know how to zor4 lang2, gave us 1 day off and treated us to drinks. IF THAT BLARDEE BANANA MAN WAS THERE, I WOULDNT EVEN EXPECT A TIGER FORCE. stoopid sgt major of mine, juz knows how to pick on things, wuds more, i heard from the golden sand pple that when they were returning back camp at around 3 am on a wed morning, that piece of lard, being vehicle comm and all, instructed the driver to send him back home at woodlands... wud kinda of sgt major is he. if we snitch on him he's a fried banana ball for ours to taste and spit out...

went out with val last night cuz she wanna scout present again... she's like having birthday parties every sat man... if i had the same case as her i'll be having a headache, not choosing the present but be thinking how my pittance allowance can tahan all of them. lucky most of my frens in NS, their situation is nowhere better haha.

Today jere and fuyuan were thinking of renting a car out for the night. i was in for anything, partly cuz im itching to drive a car although i have no license, but since it's at night when the traffic is minimal i guess it'll be okay... having to tahan jln eunos type of traffic condition i think anywhere with the exception of orchard i dare to drive lar. not forgetting expressways... mmm 100 plus km/h... slurp...

pray hard there's no traffic police around lar haha.

but the plan kinda wasnt to be cuz to rent a car, u have to be 21 yrs and above and they dun allow P-plate drivers to rent as well... fortunately there's one company which actually allows P plate drivers to rent... but only auto cars are left, we wanted a manual car ( so we can play shifting gears ). great, fy juz called me and asked me whether i want the auto car, i said anything will do... as long i get to drive haha...

with the car, we can head down to ecp tomolo morning. Our dear Chief of army wants our arty formation to join him on a 6 click jog... waste of time... sheesh... that's another reason why we want the car. kinda ex though... we might have to fork out 30 a person... 4 pple sharing...

but i get to drive... haha... i dunno... he haven call me yet...

otherwise... bus 2.40 to ecp tomolo... haiz.

Finishing off my last bite of the pork slice and bidding goodbye to my family i rushed to the bus stop, where i would take 13 to val's house... 1st time in her house... exciting feeling... furthermore i was late, cuz the bus was caught in a jam ... haiz ...

wait, before i say any further, im juz playing mahjong at her house!

Got to see Long Feng aka Stef as well, val mentioned alot abt her... everything went well until she started to win constantly... to the extent of waiting same tiles as me but she gets to win first... eee ... no more luck... cannot play liow...

became the big loser of all... sigh... no one likes to lose rite? haha... but nvm at least my pay is out...

Off tomolo... means i get to sleep late again... yea...opps correction... im on off liow, cuz it's Monday already...

Watched the eagerly anticipated Van Hellsing last night... but could see val was tired... hmm...

So didnt really enjoy the movie... but anyway the movie wasnt really that nice after all...

after a long walk down orchard road decided to go makan at 85 market at bedok... planning to take a midnite bus there but saviour fuyuan called ! picked us up from lucky plaza and drove us there... after some minced meat noodles which were only served soup style ( famous over there ), fy sent val home and later me... BIG thanks to him!

and... NOT FORGETTING ... jeremy who so kindly helped me out in transfering some money to my account!! cuz pay haven come in... haiz... BIG thanks to him as well...

slept till now... and to all mums and esp mine... happy mothers' day!

looking to my side i proceeded to check my hp for msgs... replied... and there i lay, looking dazed from a mahjong session last night. the whole session didnt move that enjoyably like last sunday, it didnt feel good. moreover, i had some scary tiles which i completed gor tai in 5 - 6 moves or even less... astonishing rite...

not that i believe of the supernatural fully, but it's around u... somewhere.

well... luck doesnt really carry over to the following week, i was hoping this week in camp was gonna be slack but on the contrary it's freaking buzi all day... forgot wud i did on monday and tuesday but on wednesday, me and my frens were tasked to be caterers for our RSM's change of command parade... dishes include laksa, been hoon and curry chicken... side dishes were choco-eclairs, wantons, crab sticks , fruits and stuff... while on the way to the venue, me and zz took a nibble of the food... nice... ;)

after the whole ceremony all the officers and specialists took off like hungry ghosts and made for the food... the laksa unexpectedly was so popular while the bee hoon remained untouched... i was hoping i would have some of the cockles but in the end within half and hour , not only the container with the cockles was drained dry, the crab sticks and wantons were leeched to the bone, leaving crumbs for the scavengers... i looked to the side where my other friends were in charge of the choco- eclairs... none were spared . haiz, being a waiter sucks, u only get to see pple eat nice food while u look quietly at one corner...however, the curry chicken which wasnt that popular with the masses ( ?! ) tasted great with bread! Stuffed myself with those and wud's more, we had some leftover beer and stout for us to drink to the merry... took stout for the first time... bitter and strong... not for the faint hearted. Cleared up the whole mess after the whole event died down...

But there's more to come. The next day, we had to perform a gun drill exhibition for some VIP... he's some general from taiwan... woke up at six something and proceeded for morning rehearsals. Waking up so early was a chore, and i looked dazed all the way... while the sun rose the temperature rose as well with the humidity. Wud more can a sleepy guy ask for, gun drill in such an environment... pulled my shoulder muscle during gun drill rehearsal some more... haiz... still pain...

slept till 9 at night when i reached bunk... chatted with val till the hp batt when dead, and went to sleep...

Today? basically nothing much except that we had to fill up some 25 boxes with sand for some upcoming exercise... tiring but was finished fast...

After a through area cleaning, we booked out for long weekend... and im on off on Monday!!! hurray...

let's hope my weekend would be fun filled...

guess wud! this week's mahjong luck has been great... finishing all my limit tiles... no stupid moves ( exp. for one i threw one ' bai ban ' for my fren to ' bao da ' , heng he didnt win ha ) so it's been a really great week man... hmm thanks to whoever's up there... i have enough cash till next pay day now!!! whew...

but usually luck doesnt stay all the way... does it...

hope next week's gonna be slack ...

hope mine's a pastime... played last night and playing again later... haha...

hope i can get some extra dough... im like getting dried up in the pockets...

hmm didnt wanna go out last night at first, until fl called me and told me he's treating me and some frens to a movie! wow... away i went, some give face mar... and watched this show called zaitoichi... freaking power fight scenes... mainly cuz i kinda like samurais... the moves are freaking cool...

went supper after that... had some tim sum... later while wins was sending us home cx gave the idea of playing mahjong, i wasnt that keen cuz tomolo play liow mar, but he juz parked his car at cx house there. either i get home by taxi or patronise them by playing mahjong. i took the clever choice.

well... good luck to me then, going to pass time liow haha.

cant sleep so crawled out of my bed to blog...

supposed to sleep early cuz i got soccer tomolo morning. haiz it's almost 3 in the morning and i dun feel tired... wud's happening to me...

usually i'd be out with jeremy and frens at this time.

did went out with them last night... went to some multi storey car park overlooking the new parliament house and the CBD area... took some pics with fuyuan's digicam, then we proceeded to geylang for some supper. To our surprise we saw one of our ORD mates... Tan Yeow Beng... he didnt sound himself, obviously he had been drinking... he was talking nonsense all the way and he even called up our alpha office to disturb the COS. poor heng swee, if only we didnt see him.

so after supper and some walking around we went back to fuyuan's 7 series. to his horror, the hi fi system in the car stopped working... cant listen to radio and cant read any cds... man was he pissed... was saying once his father knew about this he would get slaughtered... good luck i hope it's nothing serious...

stupid car manual, didnt even have a troubleshooting chapter...

hey great, im feeling a little bit tired now, looks like slumber beckons.
