juz woke from my sleep.. yea it's like 1930 in the evening...
we had arranged a chiongster night out with my army frens last night.... tried to go china black but was rejected.. sigh... every1's mood changed after we couldnt get in.... time dragged on as we loitered below the building... then decided to go MS...after we arrived both my sergeants went to withdraw money... hai waiting again! Man i hate waiting...
thru fu yuan got a chop to enter Rush.... wtf... techno club!!! but first we entered cheeky monkeys.. ya .. it's the club that recently got burgled.... sway kias... it's a hip hop club that plays R and B too. opened 2 bottles of jim beans. the music was good..... just that.... i juz couldnt spot many chinese around.... not being racist here... but hell... the crowd mainly consists of caucasians and malays! cant even pick up any girls to dance with.got abit bored and asked jeremy to go rush with me. to my dismay , the crowd was significantly smaller then cheeky's but at least the air con's cooler...coolin down period...then we started to dance. to my horror i discovered that the existing dancers on the floor were not only dancing alone, they were dancing right in front of a large mirror!! omfg, is this ego or something?i felt so weird looking at myself dancing.... but it gives urself a dellusion that u are dancing right behind the girl if there's one in front of u. maybe girls make use of the mirror to find tall... dark ... handsome guys ... hey hey!! look no further!! ;P
so i started skipping sround the 2 clubs. at around 0230 h or so as we are about the leave the place we witnessed a confrontation right outside rush.... some bald ni@#a was shouting around blabbering nonsense... a small fight ensued but luckily there were no police around... or should i say unlucky... got police means more drama to watch... ha.. then in the distance ahead there's a couple quarrelling... like so TCS.. ha...
went to eat supper near wei xiong's cousin house... supposed to go there and play cards till morning... luck was so bad.. lost money to jeremy... grr ... was so tired by then... bought breakfast back ... used comp awhile then slept till now!
maybe going out later... see whether jeremy will contact or not... cya...

yea im back again!!!! back from a gruelling standby....the following day after we stepped up.. had to go outfield exercise.... .. damn was it a shag-out but our exercise was cut early... reached camp at around 2 am.... after a nissin cup noodle i proceeded to orr orr... till the next morning where another long day awaits... cleaning up the mess!! stores maintanence, cleaning up the gun...
yea that's like the limelight of the entire standby.... but at least during out standby we could use this spacious room called the E- learning center where there would be 5 comps which can surf the net and play LAN games!! exciting for a SAF camp eh? but it's one of the only forms of entertainment , so every time u want to use the comp it's always occupied.. and when u really got to use one... ppl would complain... geez!! i juz got hold of the comp yo!!!! not that i dun belong to that group ha.....!!
besides computers the center boasts a respectable sound system and a projector which can allow us to watch movies on a screen... we watched the night at the roxbury.... really funny show... shows that really let u pass time easily.. laughing and hollering all the way.....
then here comes monday , the second last day of out standby period. could have been an ordinary day if not for ACTIVATION ! sounds impt? of course it is!! press button and we go to war.. only that this is a activation islandwide all ops unit.. see whether all units can communication with each other....... was a meaningless thing to us men though... juz sat on the ground waiting until victor came about with a soccer ball when he returned to our gun site from his local defence sector... we began by passin the ball around... then ppl from other sites came about, aroused by our shoutings and sounds of ball kicking. we set up a mini soccer field and played soccer while we awaited for the peak hour traffic to die down...( our convoy cannot move during peak traffic, will creat congestion)
tuesday was our artillery annual cross country event.. held at macritchie reservior.. the mainstay ground of all cross country events in singapore. i was supposed to be one of the competitive runners.. but i pulled out due to a bad cough .. phlegm was getting into me real bad . went home after the whole thing...
that's about it for my whole week... will be enjoying myself real good this week ( off till monday morning )cuz next week's standby again man!!! freak!!!!!!!!!!!!

hi every1.. it's me again. if u all thinking why can i blog on a monday afternoon, it's becuz im on my bday off! ( happy bday to me )
hmm this weekend has been quite the usual. met up with my jc frens and went to cineleisure to watch a movie.. after a long discussion, we decided on The Rundown. cuz i wanted an action show, not some show i have to ponder about even after the show... not on a sat night.
after purchasing the tickets we went to marche to have our dinner! cuz my fren is treating due to the fact he commissioned as an officer a couple of weeks back.. and couldnt treat me and another fren cuz i was on standby. ( curse SAF ) We ordered 2 plates of rosti, 2 plates of ham and chess crepe and a bowl of calamari to share amongst ourselves while i had a lamb steak with mash potatoes. sounds too little for u? big eater as i am, i felt bloated when i finished my share of the crepe. and there was rosti to finish up.... guess its the potato content that made me filled up.. rosti, mashed potatoes... but it was a great meal nonetheless, cuz someone's treating anyway.. ha.
then later we proceeded on to watch out show. surprisingly... for a show by The Rock, the rundown is quite entertaining, thanks to chemistry of the rock and seann william scott ( more commonly known as Stifler from the american pie series). the humour made this a show to be worth watching.. even on a weekend ( which costs 8.50 ) so guys and gals.. if u all think this show sucks.. think again. ( i tot it sucked too)
had a drink at spinelli's over at heeren, sat down.. talked cocked until zhi zhong came along. i was to go cheong with him over at centro. actualli i would have prefered double o cuz i knew the music at centro is going to be house. oh no. house.. did i mention i hate house music? not my cuppa tea rite now. but the entrance was free. thanks to fulin's card.
me, zhizhong, jas and kelly ordered a screwdriver and we had a jug free cuz it's one for one till midnight.. didnt taste good at all.. more orange i feel, the alcohol was minimal... later we all had a table and we sat down and chatted awhile... after the drinks finished we went to dance cuz jasmine said she's going to sleep if she's not dancing! she and kelly had a lambo each... can see they were abit high on the lambo... jas suggested to me to try the lambo cuz i was falling asleep on the dancefloor ( damn the house music ). the lambo was strong indeed , but as an alcohol abuser the feeling went off as soon as it came... maybe another shot will do. but still the music was not to my taste. think we left around 230 am.. walked to lau pa sat for supper , jasmine said she was hungry but after we arrived she plonked on the table and fell asleep! sheesh.. ha
Saturdays are usualli more happening but when it comes to sundays it's always boring.woke up at 2pm.. surfed net then went for a nap. woke up.. went my grandparent's place to have dinner... the dinner was fabulous.. i love homecooked food the best.. esp by my grandma! u go grannie!!
yea so that's about it for my weekend... spending my birthday alone in my house... hai...maybe meet jeremy later or even jasmine cuz she said she wanted to pass me something.... a birthday gift perhaps? ;)

Long Weekend!!!
hey me back from a bloody boring week from camp... yea i said it... boring. cuz practically i did nothing but sleep and sleep... except on wed which i did guard duty(even more boring rite). yea i like to sleep but guess my army buddies like it even more... was hoping for more sports and stuff.
But only one day which we had something to do was Monday, cuz every1 of us were going to witness a claymore mine explosion. For ppl who passed out of NS hearing the blast of a grenade, wait till u hear this baby ring. As we awaited at one safe corner, waiting for our friend to press the igniter, we were first treated to throngs of mosquitoes having the buffet of their lives. Desperately fanning ourselves from those parasites, a thundering BOOM ensued. For me i let out a WOAH WTF WAS that ! It was like a bag of grenades let off. But ha besides the pyrotechnics display, it was wasnt worth giving up blood to happy go lucky mosquitoes.
well.. guess ya all are kinda sick of hearing about NS stories, one thing im touching on is on the friendster thingy. i realise that every1 i noe are using this networking shit stuff....seems like thru this i got to find some friends from primary sch i never tot i would see again. that's a good thing.. seeing friends ( girl esp ) grow from cutie pies to one of a mature stature, whether stout and macho or slim and babelicious. then there's this testimonial thingy which friends would give u a brief description about yourself. one thing im sure of, is that all the testimonials about me would be positive. Why? cuz i can delete those bad testimonials abt me and not post it on my friendster account... haiyo, with this function , wouldnt every1 appear to be like an angel.... if only if this was the case then earth would be more peaceful aint it? Or maybe it's juz me, cuz i dun have much testimonials to brag about... ( ha )
oh before i forget, before we booked out, my unit organised a deepavali celebration. Like last year, there would be a special dinner, which means it would taste better then normal. it was... er.. ok.. palatable ( imagine my meals usually) , had to use hands to makan. Later there were performances by dancers from NUS. Of course there were girls. But none caught my eye ha. Then the emcee announced that there was a sari competition where respective batteries have to dress up someone with the sari. Unsurprisingly my battery voted me up as the puppet. well the sari was ok, if not for those plastic bags which they crushed and placed under the sari beside my chest to act as breasts. i was like HELLO!! Siao ar ! Relac le!! but my batt commander came up to me and said dun worry 1 day off!! My heart melted and began to act as mucha woman as i can on the stage when we had to parade up there. OF course i won... which was judged by the audience. Men and breasts.... sheesh ! =)
quite a long blog i found.... happy reading for those who have the patience.
